The North East Derbyshire Community Safety Partnership was formed as a result of the requirements of the Crime and Disorder Act, 1998 with the remit of tackling crime and disorder in North East Derbyshire. It comprises the following Partners:
In addition to these, the Partnership works with a variety of allied agencies and community forums in undertaking a wide variety of activities across the area. Its work is directed by a three year renewable Strategy, which was created after extensive public consultation on an Audit, which contained the currently available crime and disorder data for the area. The current main areas of concern are:
